If you play games on your computer using a PS3 controller (Sixaxis), you must be aware of a DS3 tool which is required to accomplish such a connection. Always download quality software from reputed and reliable sources. So I'm wondering if there is any other PS3 Controller Drivers out there which I can install offline and are more reliable. Better DS3 is an equivalent DS3 Tool which allows you to configure a PS DualShock controller to use on a the DS3 Tool, this tool is used offline and offers an interface that's much less overloaded and ad-free. Playstation Controller Driver for 64bit Windows is available to all software users as a free.
It's not as robust as MotionInJoy, as it doesn't allow me to remap the buttons to key-presses (which is annoying, as some games such as Melty Blood don't seem to recognize some of the input values) SIXAXIS - Which is easier to use offline and easier to install, but I have to run a batch file every time the controller disconnects.(I've unfortunately lost the instructions on how to do it again so I can only get it to work on my main computer and not my laptop) MotionInJoy - I am using this right now but I have an older version which I was able to install and use without an internet connection.I know of two driver/software combos that allow me to use my PS3 controller as a PC gamepad:
